Value for People

We train and prepare to save lives on our roads

We have carried out two accident simulations to improve our emergency response.

Sacyr Concesiones

At Sacyr, we are committed to road safety and continuous improvement. That is why, through our concession companies Ruta 68 a la Costa in Chile and Rota de Santa Maria in Brazil, we have carried out operational traffic accident simulations. The objective is to improve protocols, coordination and response capabilities to save more lives on the road.

During the simulation on Brazil’s RSC-287, we brought together our operational teams alongside emergency services to recreate demanding roadside response scenarios. Various safety and emergency organizations took part, including the concessionaire’s operational resources and TRANSUL, as well as the State Highway Police, the Military Fire Department, the Military Brigade, Civil Defense, and other institutions. This collaboration is key to ensuring an integrated and effective response to any incident.

On the Ruta 68 in Chile, we recreated a highly complex situation that included the rollover of a light vehicle with injured passengers, a subsequent car fire, and a bus collision. Through to this exercise, we were able to test the coordination of human and technical resources available on site.

Our goal is to continue improving the safety of our highways. Through initiatives like these, we refine communication, optimize processes, and strengthen teamwork. This enables us to deliver an increasingly agile, safe and efficient response for the people who use our infrastructure.

With these simulations, we take another step forward in our commitment to road safety.
